While I havent quite figured out why, If you use a Harley 2017+ GPS or a BMW Navigator, please use the "Honda" GPX file. I am not sure if this is the same issue with other GPX units as well but these two I can confirm

Beautiful route and lots of twisties. VA 311 is phenomenal and so is NC Route 8. Nice little local restaurant, gas station and grocery store called Swinging Bride in Paint Bank
